Amonette trial delay: Due to an editor’s error, an article in the Jan. 27 Post Independent referred to a court hearing in which the attempted murder trial of Phillip Amonette was postponed until July. In fact, the trial was postponed through a series of attorney motions and a judicial ruling, not in a hearing.
