Thompson House: A news brief in the Jan. 22 Post Independent incorrectly characterized the ownership of the historic Thompson House in Carbondale. The Thompson House was part of developer Frieda Wallison’s Thompson Park development that has been approved by the town of Carbondale. The Mt. Sopris Historical Society is currently the steward of the Thompson House Museum, and is the owner of the contents of the house and the associated museum collection. The house itself is still owned by Wallison and is to be dedicated to the town of Carbondale once the final plat is submitted.

CMC Trustees: The next regular meeting of the Colorado Mountain College Board of Trustees will be Monday, Jan. 28. The date was incorrectly reported in the Jan. 11 edition of the Post Independent. The trustees are also holding a special teleconference meeting from 2-3 p.m. today to discuss the selection of an interim president.
