LITTLE BOX CANYON: A caption on a photo that accompanied a story in Sunday’s edition about road work in Little Box Canyon incorrectly identified a member of the Rifle Snowmobile Club. He is Bob Hoffmeister. The photo credit was also in error. The photo was taken by Dennis Webb.
COUNTY SALES TAX: A story in the Monday edition incorrectly reported the increase in Garfield County sales tax collections. Tax revenues are up by 4.4 percent. Also, due to an editing error, the story indicated the tax is collected only in unincorporated areas. In fact, it is collected throughout the county.
ANTI-OVERRIDE GROUP: A story in Monday’s edition incorrectly reported the name of a group working to defeat the Garfield Re-2 mill levy override. The correct name is Citizens for Common Cents Education.
