Court investigator quits after felony drug arrest

A 9th District Court collections investigator who was arrested Jan. 29 for suspicion of methamphetamine possession has resigned from her job.

Peggy Sue Hickman, 47, of Parachute was arrested by Grand Junction police shortly after 11 p.m. on Jan. 29 at Orchard Park in Grand Junction.

Hickman was arrested for suspicion of possession of a schedule 2 substance, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.



According to 9th District clerk of the courts Jim Bradford, Hickman resigned from her position on Friday, Feb. 13.
