Cowboy Up for Sopris Therapy
Post Independent
Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado
Therapist Belinda Brownell founded Sopris Therapy Services in July 1994 as a nonprofit corporation to provide physical, occupational and speech therapies to children and adults who demonstrate special needs and disabilities.
Now Sopris Therapy specializes in functional rehabilitation, incorporating equine assisted therapy in a peaceful ranch setting, providing fun and functional therapy for patients.
You can help Sopris Therapy and have fun doing it. Cowboy Up is a new event to be held from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in downtown Carbondale. Proceeds from the event will benefit Sopris Therapy Services.
Dinner will be from 6-8 p.m. and will be catered by Smoke Modern BBQ, with fragrant barbecue temptations sure to satisfy everyone.
Adam Ashley and the Gunslingers will provide the music for a street dance from 8-11 p.m.
The event will include a kids corral, live auction, door prizes and video tributes to the 2008 belt buckle winners.
Tickets can be obtained at Alpine Bank and the Roaring Fork Valley Co-Op.
Yee-haw! Western fun for the whole family and a great cause to boot.
