Crisis drill Friday at Glenwood High
First responders will converge on Glenwood Springs High School on Friday morning for a multiple agency crisis drill.
The drill will provide local law enforcement, fire, medical services, and the school district a chance to practice emergency coordination and operations while students are out of school for a short fall break. During the drill, access to the school and nearby Roaring Fork School District office will be restricted.
“We encourage you to go about your normal daily tasks and not to be alarmed by the presence of multiple fire agency vehicles and law enforcement vehicles responding to and present at the Glenwood Springs High School,” the Garfield County Sheriff’s office said in a statement.
