Criticizing those who helped us in bad taste

Ron Myers

Dear Editor,

Many thanks to all who helped save Glenwood Springs. Thanks to all the firefighters and officials who made choices and saved many lives, homes, and structures. As I watched the flare up Monday afternoon above West Glenwood, I was in awe. But amazement turned to disgust as I watched national news to see two residents verbally abuse firefighters on the courthouse steps. How small can someone get to bitch about not being able to go home? Threatening the very people who saved their home is a real slap in the face. Next time we have a fire, maybe the firefighters will let them stay home and protect their homes alone! Many thanks again to all who fought the fire.

PS – Those two should pack up and leave Glenwood just to save face!
