Dale A. (Curly) George

Dale A. (Curly) George , 75, passed away May 23, 2008, in Thornton. Dale was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Rifle. He was a Colorado native throughout his life. He married Karen White on Nov. 24, 1989.He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.Survivors include his wife; brothers Walter George of Rifle, and Bill George of Grand Saline, Texas; daughter Rose Marie (Pete) Bunning of Rock Springs, Wyo.; son Al (Jackie) George of Rifle; stepsons Jim (Rhonda) White of Argyle, Texas, Jeff (Patti) White of Lawrenceville, Ga., Jon (Laurie) White of Castle Rock, and Joel (Jen) White of Englewood; and grandchildren Amy, Christina, Adam, Thomas, Chris, Ryan, Tanyr, Justin, Madelynn, Jenesea, Jackson and Jaiden. He was preceded in death by son Mark George, four brothers and three sisters.Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2695 S. Franklin St. in Denver.Interment will be held at noon May 29 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. in Denver.Reception to follow at Christ Lutheran Church.
