Daniel F. Cameron Sr.

Daniel Cameron, 88, of Rifle, passed away March 3, 2008.

Daniel was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Denver, to Patrick and Agnes (Kelly) Cameron.

Daniel was a Pearl Harbor survivor, and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II with the U.S. Army.

He married Hollis Warmbrodt in Georgia, before making their home in Elko, Nev. They moved to Rifle 60 years ago and made Rifle their home.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.

Daniel is survived by his wife; son Daniel (Rose) Cameron Jr. of Arvada; brother Bill Cameron of Loveland; and grandchildren Daniel Cameron III of Denver and Maria (Mike) Cameron-Parton of Arvada.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and his brother George Cameron.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Veteran’s Nursing Home in Rifle or the Rifle Masonic Lodge.

Cremation has taken place, and the family is planning services at a later date to be announced.

Rifle Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
