David Allen Roenfanz

David Allen Roenfanz, of Carbondale, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at his mother’s home in Carbondale. He was 23. David was born on Dec. 26, 1981, in Lafayette, La., to Patricia Savoy. David moved with his mother and two sisters to Carbondale when he was 7. He enjoyed snowboarding and chess. David was very loved by his family and friends, and had a loving and kind heart. “There will be a huge void in our lives without him. May God bless David and keep him under God’s wings.”He is survived by his mother, Patricia Savoy (Rod), of Carbondale; sisters Jill Savoy, of Carbondale, and Holley Savoy, of Glenwood Springs; grandparents Paul and Anastasia Savoy, of Lafayette, La.; aunts Alice Stein (Sandy), of Maui, Hawaii, and Lori Oats, of Colorado Springs; nephew Cody Savoy, of Glenwood Springs; other family members; and a host of friends.Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Carbondale Community United Methodist Church, 385 S. Second with the Rev. Frederick W. Amborn III officiating.
