Davy Vincent Stanfield 87, of Englewood, Florida passed away Oct. 4, 2011 in Glenwood Springs, Colo. Davy was born Sept. 5, 1924 in O’Keene County, OK to Clausine and Kathleen Vincent. Davy was a loving mother and wonderful companion to her partner, Dick Howey (RPWRH).

She established herself as a successful realtor in Englewood, FL for many years throughout which she made many friends and relationships. A colleague mentioned that whenever he walks into the office, he still misses her. She had a quick wit, amazing strength of character, and integrity. she enjoyed meeting people wherever she went-she never knew a stranger.

She and Dick enjoyed RV’ing and traveled extensively when they retired.



Davy was involved in many organizations such as National Association of Realtors, Englewood Area Board of Realtors, The women’s Council of Realtors, and the Tau Beta Chapter of Chi Omega Sorority Oklahoma State University- Stillwater, OK. She is survived by her soul mate of 25 years Richard Howey, daughters Davy (Steve) Lampman. Stephanie Stanfield, and Tracy (Chris Brown) Stanfield; grandchildren Michael J. Mirick, Bryan S. Mirick and Davy K Stanfield-Brown; great-grandchild Tristan Mirick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s association (www.alz.org) or to your organization of choice.
