Demon Invitational Track Meet thanks

Dear Editor,

The Demon Invitational Track Meet held on April 20 was again a huge success. I would like to thank the coaches – Andrea Sprung, Kim Worline, Blake Risner and Steve Carcaterra – for the tremendous amount of time and energy they put in to make sure all went well.

Without the numerous community volunteers who give hours of their time, the meet could not take place. Special thanks to the 19th Street Diner (KG, Swannie and staff) for providing lunch for the workers and coaches and to All State Communications for supplying the radios that are so critical for communications during the meet.

I would like to especially thank these Glenwood Springs High School staff members: Mike, Sonya, Craig, Sandy, Roger, Norm and Officer Neil, who volunteered their time as well. Thanks to AA Audio for coming out on a moment’s notice and working on the sound system. Again the GSHS athletic department would like to thank all those who volunteer and help out with our young athletes.
