Dennis Webb is leaving

Dennis Webb is leaving the Glenwood Springs Post Independent!

Shocking but true, unfortunately.

After nearly 19 years as editor, reporter, proofreader, columnist, therapist, debater, janitor, juggler, counselor, writer, etc… Mr. Webb is leaving.

He won’t be leaving the area or the profession but he has decided to try something new. He will be joining the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel as its Western Garfield County reporter.

To say he will be missed is the understatement of the century. His contributions to this newspaper, this community and to the people he’s touched is undeniable.

For those of you who have known Dennis over the years, here’s your chance to

give him a farewell message. Post a comment wishing him happy trails.

As for this newsroom, all we can say is that he will be missed. Not just as

a fellow journalist, but as our friend
