Denver police officers to compete on ‘American Gladiator’

DENVER, Colorado (AP) ” Two Denver police officers will compete on the “American Gladiator” television program.

Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says four-year police veteran Vicki Ferrari and two-year veteran Abbe Dorn will first appear on the NBC show on Monday and then will compete in later episodes.

The show features average contestants competing against body builders on various obstacle courses and physical challenges.

Both officers work in the patrol division and are described as extremely fit and competitive.
