Diane Bender
Diane Bender of Parachute died in October 2002 at her home. She was 54.
She was born June 12, 1948, in Denver to Fred and Ann Bender. She grew up in Trafford, Pa.
Ms. Bender was an accomplished artist in oil painting, pastels, pencil drawing and sculpture.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Roselyn and Jeff Sacco of Queen Creek, Ariz.; brothers Thomas Bender of Catoosa, Okla., and Martin Bender of Trafford, Pa.; a sister, Eloise Bender; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Sara Sacco.
A funeral Mass was held on Oct. 28 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rifle, with Monsignor Robert Hehn officiating.
Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Ebensburg, Pa.
Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
