Donna Kay “Donna Piranha” Hunter of Glenwood Springs died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003. She was 39.

She was born Dec. 30, 1963, in Aurora to Betty C. Miller and Don R. Armstrong.



She married Timothy A. Hunter on Aug. 16, 2003, at their home in Oak Meadows. She had lived in Glenwood Springs for 12 years.

She was employed by Hunter Concrete.



Mrs. Hunter was a devoted mother and wife. She loved snowboarding, Lake Powell and the outdoors. She had recently discovered gardening.

She loved and lived life to its fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hunter is survived by her husband, Tim Hunter of Glenwood Springs; by her daughters Taylor Smith and Bailey Smith of Glenwood Springs; by stepsons Ross Hunter and Kye Hunter, of Rifle; by her aunt Dottie Johnson of Oklahoma; by Marsha Emery of San Antonio, Texas; by cousins Tab and Karen Lewis of Oklahoma; and by her many friends.
