Donna Kay Mall

Donna Kay Mall of Rifle died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. She was 52.

She was born Sept. 4, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Charlotte Daniels and Floyd Robert Davis.

She married Jake B. Mall on June 11, 1966, in Rifle.



Mrs. Mall was a caregiver for the elderly and the young.

She enjoyed oil painting, wood crafting, yard sales and weekend sightseeing.



Her greatest love was her family, and the family always celebrated Christmas at home.

Mrs. Mall was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Robert and Charlotte Davis; and by brothers Robert Davis and Lawrence Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Jake B. Mall of Rifle; by a son and daughter-in-law, Stewart and Dietra Mall of Rifle; by a daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Brad Hardman of Parachute; by a brother, Floyd Allen Davis of Morse, Texas; by sisters Phyllis Jean Davis of Spearman, Texas, Bonnie Davis of North Carolina, and Carey Lynn Menard of Spearman, Texas; and by special friends Becky Smith, Jean Hubbard, Kay Zelenka and Kim LaRocque.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, at the Rifle Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 Access Road in Rifle, with Chaplain Patty Harris of Valley View Hospital officiating.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
