Don’t dump your trash

Dear Editor,

This is for the trashy people of Colorado and the rest of the world.

Why is it that people can’t keep trash in their cars until they find a trash can? Is it because we call this America the Beautiful? Are they insulted? Or maybe we can blame their parents for not teaching them any better. And how about their children: Are these the kids that open their snacks at the bus stop and throw their trash in the street?

If our forefathers and men and women who died in wars for this country could see the lack of respect that these people have, they would roll over in their graves.

And why do we not see these law breakers in action? Because they are so cowardly that they only do this when people are not watching them.

Maybe an answer would be to raise the fines for littering and split it with the people who turn in the perpetrators. Come on people. I’m not in favor of Big Brother, this is America the Beautiful, home of the free. Let’s clean up your act and take pride in your country.
