Don’t miss tonight’s holiday events

The holiday season kicks off with a number of don’t-miss events in Glenwood Springs tonight:

– 5:30 p.m. Tree lighting at the Chamber of Commerce, 11th and Grand.

– 5:45 p.m. Caroling parade stops at Centennial Park for the lighting of the refurbished “Santa’s Workshop.”



– 6 p.m. Caroling parade proceeds to the Hotel Colorado’s Annual Festival of Lights, which begins with live musical entertainment and refreshments in the hotel courtyard.

– 7 p.m. Fireworks and lighting of the courtyard display; Santa will move inside to the hotel lobby for photo opportunities.



– 7:30 p.m. Santa also makes an appearance at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, riding a specially lit tram car to the top, where there will be lighting displays and carolers.
