The day after our wedding we drove from Indy to Connecticut so Dick could go back to school.Where did you meet?: At the Aspen Athletic Club. I went in to join the club, and Dick was working behind the front desk stringing a racquet. It took him three months to ask me out!What was your first date?: Little Annie’s for a “burger and a beer.”Most memorable date: The first one! Dick claims he was so nervous that he brought a friend with him! He and his buddy talked sports most of the night!How did you know he was the one?:Dick always made me laugh, and I knew life would never be boring with him because of his energy level!How did you know she was the one?: She was the only girl that would ever go out with me!Best Valentine’s gift ever: One year Dick surprised me with a Diamond heart necklace; I’m waiting for him to top that!Is Valentine’s Day still special?: Only if there’s not a kid’s sporting event that we need to attend!
