Doris Redman Shelton, 79, passed away Friday, Jan. 8,2010 at home with loved ones. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on Friday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m.She was born to Rosa Farquhar Henry and Herbon King Redman on Dec. 24, 1930 in St. Jo, TX. Doris resided much of her life in Nocona, TX, Shadyside, OH and Wichita Falls, TX. She attended Abilene Christian College and retired as a Librarian from Barwise Junior High School.Doris is survived by son Robert Bond & wife Karen, daughter Dana Scott, three grandchildren: Kait & Rory Mackey and Travis Allen; sister Charlotte Wood of Wichita Falls, TX and nieces: Sherry Snelling, Susan Jo Banks and Cindy Browning.The last years of her life, Doris lived in her son’s home, at 194 Apple Drive, New Castle, Colorado 81647
