Dorothy Helene Theobald

Dorothy Helene Theobald died Friday, March 7, 2003, in Glenwood Springs. She was 93.

She was born on Dec. 12, 1909, in Philadelphia, Penn., to Rose M. Gross and George W. Schwinn.

She married Robert E. Theobald. He preceded her in death.



Mrs. Theobald moved from Dallas, Texas, to Carbondale in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Theobald; by her son Robert Theobald Jr.; and by her brother George Schwinn.



Mrs. Theobald is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Joan and Kenneth Golden of Glenwood Springs; and by grandchildren Joan Wallendorff of Montrose, Kimberly Shilling of Mary Esther, Fla., Melinda Golden of Glenwood Springs, Kenneth Golden of Phoenix, Amy Theobald Porterfield of Bremerton, Wash., Kari Theobald of Dallas, Texas, and Paige Cannady of Washington, D.C.,; and by five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at Mountain View Church of Glenwood, 2195 County Road 154, Glenwood Springs.
