Dorothy I. Peck Bagley

Dorothy I. Peck Bagley went home to be with her Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ, Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011.

Dorothy was born Jan. 2, 1922 in Wills Point; Texas. She moved with her parents to Meeker in 1923.

She married her first love, John Peck, in 1941. To this union were born two daughters, Diana Harris of Sylva, N.C. and Carol Brown of Hemet, Calif. After the death of her husband, John, she married George (Dutch) Bagley in 1970 and became a rancher’s wife until his death in 2008.



She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Silt for many years. Among the many things she enjoyed in her life, she especially loved spending time with her many friends and family, who will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Russ) Brown and Diana (Vern) Harris; two stepsons, Chuck and George (Virginia) Bagley; two grandsons, Matt (CeeAnn) Dalton and son of Purdy Mesa, Bart Dalton of Longmont; numerous step grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; five sisters, Winell Boise of Grand Junction, Zelma Sperat of Merritt Island, Fla., Inez Downen of Loma, Flora Wittwer of Durango and Luella Bagley of Nampa, Idaho; many nieces and nephews.



Funeral services were held Jan. 28, 201, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Silt.
