Dorothy May Chappel of Glenwood Springs died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Glen Valley Care Center. She was 76.
No services are planned.
She was born Dorothy May Halford on March 8, 1927, to Jessie Cassinger and Burlion Halford.
She married Sam Chappel on Oct. 16, 1948, in Glenwood Springs. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Chappel is survived by sons Cal Chappel of Mesa, Ariz., and Sammy Chappel and Mark Chappel, both of Boulder City, Nev.; by a grandson, Kasey Chappel of Phoenix; by a granddaughter, Sally Chappel of Lakewood; and by sisters Louise Richardson and Mary Lou Davis, both of Glenwood Springs.
Farnum-Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
