Dottie Fox

Dottie Fox passed away peacefully Sept. 11, 2006, after a long life and over thirty years in the Roaring Fork Valley. A family service was held and attended by her four children and their families in the East Sopris Creek area, a hiking area that she enjoyed. It was Dottie’s wish to invite friends and acquaintances to a celebration of life at the Windstar Foundation, an area dear to her heart. The memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Windstar Foundation, located on Upper Snowmass Creek Road, and will consist of an open platform in which attendees are invited to share some of their favorite moments and memories of Dottie. Parking is limited, and in the spirit of conservation car-pooling is encouraged. The memorial will be under roof, but dress warmly. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wilderness Workshop, P.O. Box 1442, Carbondale, CO 81623 or Great Old Broads for Wilderness, P.O. Box 2924, Durango, CO 81301.
