Eagle Co. cops: Deportee busted on drug charges

EAGLE COUNTY ” A man who was deported after being busted in January was arrested on suspicion of selling cocaine in Eagle County Thursday.

Josue Roberto “Chuy” Delgado, 31, of Dotsero, was arrested after undercover detectives bought cocaine from him, said a press release from the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office and the Two Rivers Drug Enforcement Team.

The agencies had been investigating Delgado for cocaine distribution, the release says.



Delgado was arrested for cocaine possession in January. He bailed out of jail and was picked up by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and deported to Mexico in February.

Delgado returned to Eagle County and was in possession of approximately half ounce of cocaine upon his arrest, the agencies said.



Delgado is being held in the Eagle County Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond. He also is facing federal charges of illegally re-entering the United States.

Also arrested on suspicion of trafficking in cocaine was Carlos Elias Dominguez, 37, of Dotsero, who is also known as Jorge Carlos Rodriguez, the agencies said.

A third man ” William A Seivert, 49, of Northglen, Colo. ” was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine, the agencies said. )

The bonds on Dominguez and Seivert are $267,500 and $7,500 respectively.
