VAIL, Colorado – The Eagle County Republicans will host their annual Lincoln Day Dinner, scheduled for June 5 at the Vail Golf Club. Leondray Gholston, vice chairman of the Colorado Republican Party, will be the guest speaker.

Invitations to speak have also been extended to candidates running for Eagle County offices this November. They include candidates for the following positions: Claudia Alexander, for County Commissioner; Karen Schaeffer, treasurer; Joe Hoy and Charles Wolf who will face off in the Aug. 10 primary for sheriff; and Ted Archibeque, surveyor.

The Republican State Assembly is being held in Loveland May 21-22. Once candidates are slated through that process for state and federal positions, they will also be issued invitations to speak.

Elections are being held this year for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Attorney General, Board of Education, and House District 56.

The Eagle County Republican Party Central Committee sponsors this event, but all members of the public are invited to attend. This is a unique opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with candidates for this very important election.
