The First United Methodist Church invites everyone to an Easter Celebration morning. The morning begins with Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. at the church, followed by Easter Breakfast and Egg Hunt beginning at 8:15 a.m.; Egg hunt starts at about 9 a.m. The traditional Easter Service, including special music, will begin at 10 a.m. followed by time for fellowship.

The Hotel Colorado’s annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday in the hotel courtyard. All children 5 and under are invited.

The Hotel Colorado’s annual Easter Brunch buffet will seat patrons from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Parachute Kiwanis Club will hold an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday on the lawn of the Battlement Mesa Activity Center. There will be over 1,000 candy-filled eggs, and the Easter Bunny will be there. All area youngsters up through age 6 are invited.

In case of inclement weather, the hunt will be inside the activity center.

The Easter Bunny is making an early stop to Sayre Park at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sayre Park Gazebo. He’ll bring prizes, goodies and tons of fun for kids. All boys and girls ages 2-9 may join in on the Easter Egg Hunt for prizes. Age groups are separated. Don’t forget your Easter basket! Pictures with the Easter Bunny begin at 10 a.m.

The town of Carbondale annual Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1-8 will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sopris Park. This is a free event that includes a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Age groups will be divided up in the park. Children can register for prize drawings beginning at 9:30 a.m. Children will need to bring a basket for collecting eggs.

Please be prompt. The hunt only lasts a few minutes

The Rifle Lions Club 74th annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Deerfield Park.

Age groups: Children aged 3 and under, 4-6 and 7-9.

The New Castle 26th annual Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10 a.m. Saturday in any kind of weather, at Riverside Middle School. The event is designed for ages toddler to 12 years. Come shake hands with the Easter Bunny. Bring your Easter basket or bag.

The Easter Egg Hunt on the top of Iron Mountain at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park will be held promptly at 2 p.m. Saturday, so please plan to arrive at the top of the tram by 1:30 p.m. One golden egg will contain four annual membership passes. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance.
