Olivia Hawkins of Glenwood Springs was one of more than 150 graduates to receive a diploma at the Harding University commencement exercises July 28.

Hawkins received a Master of Science in marriage and family therapy.

The local students listed below have been named to the dean’s list of distinction or the dean’s honor roll in recognition of their outstanding scholarship during the 2011-12 academic year at the University of Northern Colorado.

Dannielle Yarbrough, a 2012 Rifle High School graduate, has been awarded a renewable $1,000 J. Robert Young Scholarship. Dannielle will attend Colorado Mesa University this fall and will obtain a degree in accounting with the goal of becoming a certified public accountant upon graduation.

The Glenwood Springs Association of Realtors is pleased to announce the following area high school graduates are the recipients of the association’s annual scholarship awards:

Zach Becker, Coal Ridge High School; Paola Batres, Skylor Kendrick and Rachel Maison, Glenwood Springs High School; Kristen Schubert, Grand Valley High School; Brant Bear, Savanna Brown and Kenia Cardenas, Rifle High School; and Landin Bailey, Tanner Gianinetti, Clay Gross and Adriana Perez, Roaring Fork High School.
