GSHS students interested in being a Rotary Exchange Student for the 2013/14 academic year may obtain an application at http://www.rotary5470.org, select RYE from site links on left. Students can be a sophomore, junior or senior on exchange. The three Rotary clubs of Glenwood Springs will interview and select students to sponsor for this incredible, life-changing experience next September.

Hosting an incoming Rotary Exchange student is a great way for parents and students to learn about this wonderful program before deciding to apply for exchange. Rotary is always looking for enthusiastic families to host students for three months of their year-long exchange.

The rewards of hosting a student and going on exchange are beyond measure. Please consider pursuing either or both of these special opportunities. Go to http://www.rotary.org for an overview of Rotary International and Rotary Youth Exchange. Contact Trish Kramer at 970-945-9874 for more information on hosting a student or applying for the exchange program.
