Andrea and Shane Williams, Rene’ Cousineau and Dana Rubick are proud to announce the graduation of their son, brother and nephew, Aaron D. Cousineau. Aaron received his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.He was a member of Glenwood Springs High School Class of 2009. Aaron was the winner of the Denver Chaine des Rotisseurs Vail Bailliage Young Chefs Competition. He also competed in San Antonio and New Orleans. He has worked with Chef Francois Payard and was Iron Chef Cat Cora’s Sous Chef for the Grand Tasting at the Ritz. He has participated in the Taste of Vail Culinary Festival, Beaver Creek’s Brews and Blues, The Big Green Egg, Summertime in Piemonte and numerous Chaine and other organizations dinners, banquets and fundraisers in Vail and Beaver Creek. Aaron has estaged at several renowned restaurants in Chicago, New York City and Las Vegas and recently visited France where he cooked for a Parisian family. Aaron has been preparing marvelous meals for Beano’s Cabin, Vail Cascades Atwater on Gore Creek, the Elks Club and AspenGlen Club. Aaron has currently been offered positions at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon and Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s B&B Ristorante in Las Vegas and has accepted the position at Bouchon in the Venetian Hotel and Casino.

Over 75,000 hikers visited Hanging Lake during this year’s peak season. Via signage, the city hopes to point more of those hikers also in the direction of downtown Glenwood Springs.
