Edward Gallant

Edward Leon Gallant, 60, died in a motorcycle accident in Battlement Mesa on July 3, 2006.Edward was born Feb. 12, 1946, to Harold Alvin and Mary Grace (Richart) Gallant in San Antonio, Texas.Edward worked as a crane operator and was a member of the Crown Peak Baptist Church in Battlement Mesa.He is survived by sons Danny Wayne Gallant of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Donnie Cayne Gallant of San Antonio; sisters Ruth Lynn (LeRoy) McCabe of LaVernia, Texas, Mary Lou (Don) Williams of New Braunfels, Texas; granddaughter Faith Ann Gallant; and many nieces and a host of friends.He was preceded in death by his mother; stepfather Charles Aigner; and sister Leona Gallant.A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Crown Peak Baptist Church, 101 W. Battlement Parkway, Parachute. Pastor Doug Sparks will officiate.Farnum-Holt Funeral Home, 405 W. Seventh St., Glenwood Springs, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
