Enjoy the 10th annual Festival of Lights at the Hotel Colorado
Dear Editor,
As I wish all a most happy holiday season in the Roaring Fork Valley beginning with Thanksgiving Day, shoveling snow into Christmas Day and reveling during New Year’s Eve, please show up at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, to assemble for the 10th annual Hotel Colorado courtyard lighting ceremony in Glenwood Springs, for spectacular sights inside and outside the hotel, entertainment and a little nibbles, Santa Claus and four minutes of $6,000 worth of fireworks in the evening sky in a beautiful snow-covered alpine setting.
Join folks from the Roaring Fork Valley, including Aspen, Grand Junction, Rifle, New Castle, Silt, Eagle, Vail, Summit County and Denver, for the best holiday celebration, opening-season-spectacular show in the Western Slope and beyond for you, your family and your friends to witness. And remember, thanks to the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Join the new Western Slope tradition led by the Hotel Colorado.
Although I won’t be around to enjoy the Hotel Colorado’s Christmas gala with you in the grand fashion you expect, I will think of all of you as I kick off the holiday season Beverly Hills-style at the Nov. 30 “Beverly Hills City Hall Holiday Illumination Ceremony” in Southern California.
Cordially yours,
Emzy Veazy
Aspen
