Erma C. Hillman, 84, passed away on Feb. 20, 2012, in Glenwood Springs, Colo.
She was born on March 26, 1927, to Loretto and Carmella Fracess in Chicago, Ill.
Erma was the youngest and last survivor of nine siblings. She is survived by her husband Robert Hillman; her daughter Carmie Reed; son-in-law Charlie; her grandchildren Chris Reed and Cyndie Rightmire, her husband Rob and their two children Paige and Morgan. Erma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Erma resided at Sunnyside Retirement Home for the last five years and will be missed by all. The family would like to extend our greatest gratitude to Valley View Hospital for taking such great care of her over these last few years and especially to Grace Healthcare. The staff at Grace Healthcare treated her as one of their own and in her final months helped both Erma and the entire family through a very difficult time.
Mass is to be held on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs, Colo. In lieu of flowers we would like to request that donations be made in Erma’s name to Grace Healthcare so that they may continue their gracious efforts in caring for the sick and elderly. We will miss you, Nani.
