‘Escanaba’ opens at CMC theater

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. Colorado Mountain College Theater presents a comedy written by actor Jeff Daniels this weekend and next.”Escanaba in da Moonlight” opens today at CMC’s New Space Theater at the Spring Valley Center.The comedy answers the question, “To what lengths would one man go to remove the curse of being the only male in his family never to bag a buck?” The setting is the man’s family hunting cabin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the night before hunting season opens. Producers say it is a tale that has to be seen to be believed.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and March 1-3; with a 2 p.m. matinee March 4. The content is for mature audiences.
