Ethel Eunice Dwight Russell

Ethel Eunice Dwight Russell of Las Vegas, Nev., died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at the St. Rose Hospital in Las Vegas. She was 81.

She was born July 30, 1921, in Elkart, Kan., to Norman and Myrtle Jane Coutice Dwight.

She married Harold Theodore Russell on Aug. 3, 1943, in Las Vegas. He died March 26, 1992.



Mrs. Russell was a homemaker. She also worked for 10 years for the U.S. Forest Service in Glenwood Springs as an accounting technician.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed doing crafts and being with family.



Mrs. Russell is survived by sons Thomas Russell of Anchorage, Alaska, and Harry Russell of Puyallup, Wash.; by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanine and Dale Spiers of Las Vegas; by brothers and sisters-in-law George and Thelma Dwight, and Frank and Beverly Dwight, all of Colorado; by sisters and brother-in-law Bessie and Marshall Downey, and Pearl Eiland, all of Colorado, and Ruth and Wayne Caple of Texas; and by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held today in Orem, Utah. Burial will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery.
