Eva R. Manzanares

Eva R. Manzanares of Rifle died Monday, June 9, 2003, at E. Dene Moore Nursing Home in Rifle. She was 84.

She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Ortiz to Paublita Ruybal and Tomas Esequiel.

She was a homemaker. Ms. Manzanares lived in Minturn for 59 years, and moved to Rifle nine years ago.



She was divorced.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Manzanares.



Ms. Manzanares is survived by a son, Robert Manzanares of Eagle; by daughters Emily Harper of Titusville, Fla., Dorothy Schoenke of Sun Prairie, Wisc., and Pauline Boyles of Grain Valley, Mo.; by brothers John Martinez of Red Cliff, Harold Martinez of Ortiz, and Manuel Martinez of Petaluma, Calif.; by a sister, Mary Valdez of Denver; and by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

No services are planned.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
