Evacuation disrupts wedding party

Dear Editor,

The almost “non-event” evacuation was very much a huge event for some of us, who were in the middle of it. That was our youngest daughter’s wedding evening at the Glenwood Community Center. We left the cake uncut, 100s of dollars of food to spoil, photos not taken, friends not visited with, not to mention the bride being shut out of the building and not allowed back in.

We did however keep our sense of humor and ended the evening in great style, but a non-event it wasn’t. Just thought you’d like to know.
