Evalena Frances Kehr

Evalena Frances Kehr, 85, passed away June 18, 2006, at E. Dene Moore Nursing Home in Rifle.She was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Vibbard, Mo., to Isaac H. and Etta H. (Shelton) Stockton. She spent her life in Missouri, where she lost her first husband. She married David G. Kehr Oct. 12, 1996, in Linneus, Mo., and moved to Rifle with him. David visited his wife every day at the nursing home and loved her very much, as did his daughters, and all the Kehr family and friends.She was a cook at restaurants, and was a loving mother and wife and grandmother. She is survived by her husband; daughters Norma Stockton of Tulsa, Okla., and Margaret Herring, of Linneus; brother Woodford Stockton, of Hunter, N.D.; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. There will be no services in Rifle. She will be taken back to Orrick, Mo., to be buried in her family plot. The service is at 11 a.m. Saturday in Orrick.In lieu of flowers, the Kehr family of Rifle would like any donations to be sent to the Rifle Senior Center at 50 Ute, Rifle, CO, 81650, in care of Marie George.Arrangements are entrusted to the Rifle Funeral Home.
