Evelyn Lucille Mullins

Evelyn Lucille Mullins of Carbondale died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at Heritage Park Care Center. She was 96.

She was born April 1, 1907, in Chisholm, Minn., to Lucy St. Lawrence and Cornelus Sullivan.

She married John Patrick Mullins. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Mullins was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Antonette Simmons.

Mrs. Mullins is survived by sons and daughters-in-law John Michael and Theresa Mullins of Carson City, Nev., and Brian and Ming Mullins of San Berno, Calif.; by daughters and son-in-law Marilyn Busk of Glenwood Springs, and Patricia and Herman Troutman of Green Creek, Idaho; by a brother Leo F. Sullivan of Los Angeles; and by a sister, Margaret Bardsley of Sun City, Ariz.

A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, at St. Mary of the Crown Catholic Church in Carbondale.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at St. Mary of the Crown Catholic Church in Carbondale, with the Rev. Tom Bradtke officiating.

Burial will follow at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.

Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
