Fall Art Festival a pleasant surprise

Ronald E. Eaton

Dear Editor,

As is often the case some of the most enjoyable things in life are also the most unexpected. This was certainly the case in our unplanned stopover last week in Glenwood Springs. Clearly Glenwood Springs is as hospitable as it is beautiful, but what really dazzled us was our chance “pop in” to the Glenwood Springs Fall Art Festival. My wife and I have always lived in arts communities, both in the United States and abroad, and we have been collectors of art for many years. To our surprise we found the Glenwood Springs Fall Art Festival rich in subject variety, style and medium.

Glenwood Springs is indeed lucky to have such a vibrant arts community and we extend our most sincere congratulations to your artists. We look forward to putting the Glenwood Springs Fall Art Festival on our calendar.
