Family Law Day set for June 29

The 9th Judicial District — Garfield, Pitkin and Rio Blanco counties — will hold a Family Law Day on June 29, offering a variety of legal services and advice for self-represented parties at no charge.

The event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Garfield County Combined Courts, 109 Eighth St. in Glenwood Springs, will provide services to complete court-ordered mediation and court-ordered parenting classes and will offer one-hour sessions with private attorneys for free legal advice.

Participants also will be able to apply for or talk to an expert about child support services, and can receive assistance in completing court forms for domestic relations cases.
