Feeling less safe in the U.S.
Dear Editor,
I cannot understand President Bush’s argument that an attack on Iraq will make the United States a safer place. The impending war will surely kill thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of innocent Iraqi people. Acts of aggression on this scale will only fuel anti-American sentiment and incite more acts of terrorism. The thought of a U.S.-led war and a prolonged military presence in the Middle East makes me feel less safe than ever.
