FENSKE: Your important role in the conscious evolution of humanity

“I once listened to an Indian on television say that God was in the wind and the water, and I wondered at how beautiful that was because it meant you could swim in Him or have Him brush your face in a breeze.” — Donald Miller

What do you think about the above quote? Do you believe that God (or Spirit or Divine Intelligence or whatever you prefer to call the representation of the Creator of all that is) is indeed in the water and the wind? Do you believe that He-She is in all things?

In the past I didn’t give this much thought. I just went about my business unaware and not even questioning something as thought-provoking as this. It didn’t even enter my consciousness. That was a long time ago.

Now, it is my intention to stay ever mindful of seeing and feeling the Divine Presence in everything. It brings about such a sense of awe, joy and peace to know this truth — God is in everything and is everywhere whether we are aware of it or not. I find so much comfort and relief in just knowing this truth. It doesn’t matter whether I am thinking about it or not, whether I am feeling it or not, God is present.

He-She is in the wind, the water, every cell of your body, the smile of a baby, a beautiful horse running with the freedom of an unencumbered heart, a tiny ant working feverishly to carry a stick three times his size up a hill, an eagle flying loftily above, the sky, moon, sun and stars, the angels around you, every breath you take, the beating of your heart, the rushing of blood in your veins, the heart-shaped rock you find laying at the edge of a trail, in everything! He-She is with you and within you always!

When you realize that the Divine Intelligence, the Divine Impulse is a part of you, is you, you become aware of all the choices you make and start making more conscious choices. You realize your choices not only affect you, they affect those close to you and even beyond these people. The choices you make and the actions you take become a part of the collective consciousness and affect the whole of humanity.

You begin to understand your personal responsibility in the evolution of humanity and you commit to your own conscious evolution because you know that what you do on the inside has an enormous effect on the outside, on the future of humanity. You begin to realize your potential as a co-creator in the process of evolution.

You begin to take responsibility for your own creations and experiences. You remember this truth: “Whatever I am thinking or feeling, it is I who am doing the thinking and feeling. No one else is making me do anything.” You move from resisting and judging to allowing and welcoming, from the experience of separation to the experience of union — from me to us, from I to we.

You become the observer. You become the observer of everything, starting with observing yourself. And as you observe you begin to see God everywhere and in everything. And you understand that through you God is able to observe Him-Herself. You are the vessel through which His-Her magnificence manifests.

I encourage you to set an intention this week to be especially mindful. Commit to finding the Divine in all people, in all situations, in all things. I guarantee your perception will change and with it the world you experience. Remember that through you Divine Intelligence is manifested. How powerful is that? How big will your part be in the co-creation of the evolution of humanity?
