Feral Book Cafe was a gem

Dear Editor,

Cheers to Rob Tramazzo for your beautiful letter of July 28 supporting the Feral Book Cafe.

The cafe was a creative, unique and energized refuge in Glenwood. A gem, indeed.

Since the news of its closing has been revealed, I have heard many citizens expressing their sorrow and disbelief. Farland, J.C. and the staff have given so much to Glenwood.

It is distressing that a few strident voices are able to quench such a spirited establishment. I, and many other grateful citizens, hope that somehow the cafe can rise from the ashes and live again. Let’s make it happen!
