Fire rips through Aspen apartments
ASPEN ” Fire broke out at the Castle Ridge Apartments in Aspen late Tuesday and raged into early Wednesday.
According to police, rescuers had accounted for nearly all of the residents of the 10 units involved in the blaze by early Wednesday. The apartments, adjacent to Aspen Valley Hospital, are privately owned and managed, but are designated for Aspen-area workers.
