First ‘State of the River’ meeting in El Jebel

The Colorado River Water Conservation District will host the first “State of the River” meeting for the Roaring Fork River Basin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mount Sopris Room at the Eagle County Community Center in El Jebel.

The meeting brings together the major water management entities in the river basin to discuss anticipated water operations for the coming year, as well as defining who they serve and where their points of diversion are.
