When and where were you born? Glenwood Springs, on April 1, 1936.How long have you been in the valley? All my life except when (husband) Bob went into the service, between 1956 and 1960. Bob was stationed in Iceland.Family information: Husband Bob; son Rob, daughter Karen; son Tom, and wife Jennifer, sons Preston, Tyler and Carter; daughter Jean, husband Steve, sons Ryan and Matthew; son Steve, wife Sandy; daughter Trina, husband Thad, sons Reece and Evan.What do you do? Customer service at Alpine Bank in Glenwood Springs.What do you do in your spare time? Crochet.What’s your favorite memory? When Bob was named Glenwood Springs Citizen of the Year (in 1997) and all the kids and grandkids were here when he received his award. I kept the secret for many months.What are you most proud of in your life? My family.What would you like to do that you’ve never done? Cruise through the Panama Canal.If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be? Hawaii.What words of advice can you offer the younger generation? Be kind and considerate and have a good work ethic.
