Florence L. Antonides

Florence L. Antonides, 72, died on March 5, 2006, of complications from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She died in a long-term care facility in New Britain, Conn., where she had resided since 1996.

She was a 1955 graduate of Smith College.



Ms. Antonides grew up in New York City, lived briefly in Aspen and Denver, and lived most of her adult life as a homemaker in Redstone.

She is survived by sisters Margot Heap and Anne L. Jafferis, both of Connecticut, and by eight nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her brother, Hayes C. Lamont and by her former husband, Ralph Antonides.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation in Denver or to a charity of one’s choice.
