Forest, BLM lift fire restrictions

Recent precipitation has allowed the Bureau of Land Management Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction field offices, and the White River National Forest to lift fire restrictions at noon today.

Visitors should continue to exercise extreme caution with fire when camping. Never leave a campfire unattended, and always make sure campfires are dead-out. Even though fire restrictions have been lifted, fireworks are still not allowed on federal public land.
